Michael Bennett series summary: Michael Bennett is a detective for the NYPD. He is tasked with solving some of the most difficult cases the city of New York can throw at him. Not only that but he has a crazy family life as well. After his wife was diagnosed with cancer it became even more f a struggle to be a cop while trying to, singlehandedly, raise their 10 adopted kids.

If this sounds like something that might be interesting to you pick up the first book in the series Step on a Crack

If you haven’t read the series SPOILERS AHEAD!!

Summary: Detective Bennett is back in NYC after his time in witness protection in California. Called to the bosses office, Bennett thinks he’s in for a treat after helping bring down the cartel leader, Manuel Perrine. Instead, he gets assigned to an outreach squad in Harlem. A pet project of the mayor’s, this project is a disaster in the making, and Detective Bennett was just placed in charge.

Review: loved, loved, loved it!! This book, like the rest did not disappoint. If you’ve made it this far in my review and haven’t read the rest of the books do so. Pronto. You won’t regret it.

Recommendation: read it!! I can’t wait for the next book out this August!
