Book Review: Splintered by AG Howard

Splintered by AG Howard

Fantasy; 371 pages

Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Summary: Alyssa Gardner is the great great great granddaughter of the famous Alice Liddell. This is the same Alice who was thought to be crazy after she told Lewis Carroll about her fantastic dreams. But maybe she wasn’t crazy. Maybe there was just something different about her and her descendants, something special… or maybe something dark.

Review: Alice in Wonderland spinoff/continuation novel. That’s all it took to draw me to the book because I’m obsessed with Alice in Wonderland. This book definitely didn’t disappoint. It was the perfect combination of the familiar with the new. It had a whole new story to tell, about what really happened to Alice in Wonderland and what Alyssa had to do to set things right. I loved the characters. I thought they were very well written and very believable… Well, as believable as any made up creature can be.

Recommendation: highly recommend this book. I absolutely loved it.
