Throwback Thursday: Book Version

So there’s probably some sort of version of this out there somewhere but I’m going to do my own, maybe I’ll make it a thing of I can think of a topic each week …

This weeks throwback is Top 10 Classics I Own but have Never Read!

 1) War and Peace by Tolstoy- this book is gigantic but I will read it, all of it.
2) The Hound of the Baskervilles by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle- it was a school book so I never actually read it.

3) Anna Karenina by Tolstoy- I started it but never finished but I will, I really want to.

4) Tess of the D’Urbervilles by Thomas Hardy

5) The Age of Innocence by Edith Wharton

6) Paradise Lost but John Milton

7) A Tale of Two Cities by Charles Dickens

8) Wuthering Heights by Emily Bronte

9) Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen- I know, I know, I can’t believe I haven’t read it either.

10) Gulliver’s Travels by Jonathan Swift

Are there any classics you want to read but haven’t yet?

  1. Pride and Prejudice is so wonderful – truly a must read! Wuthering Heights is also one of my favorites, and so is A Tale of Two Cities. These three are all books I can read over and over again. I just started Anna Karenina, not sure how I feel about it yet. Still too early to tell.
