WWW Wednesday: 4 November, 2015

WWW Wednesday is hosted each week by the lovely Sam over at Taking on a World of Words

Here’s my contribution for this week:

What are you currently reading?

I’m still reading Drums of Autumn by Diana Gabaldon. Her books are so long it always takes me a few weeks to get through them, not because they are boring or anything, just because they are 800+ pages normally. Her books are so gigantic that they become a bit of a pain to bring to work with me everyday (I read on my lunch/dinner break) so I usually have another book to bring with me. My current “bring to work book” is The Silkworm by Robert Galbraith. I’m rereading this book, trying to tide myself over until I can get my hands on Career of Evil. The kindle book is just way too expensive right now, I could buy the hardcover for the same price. Why don’t you just buy the hardcover? Good question, I own the first two books on my kindle and I like to own entire series in the same format.

What have you recently finished reading?

I’ve read three books in the last week! First was The Scorch Trials by James Dashner which I started last Wednesday and nearly finished that same day. Second was The Battle of the Labyrinth by Rick Riordan which also took me no time at all to read. Third was Sanctum by Madeleine Roux which was my Halloween read! I loved all of them!
What do you plan on reading next?

There are a ton of books I want to get to ASAP but I’m letting my TBR jar do the choosing for me. I’m really hoping I get Cress by Marissa Meyer or Private:#1 Suspect by James Patterson soon! I wouldn’t mind getting The Elite by Kiera Cass or Ensnared by AG Howard or Catacomb by Madeleine Roux soon either 🙂
What books are all of you currently reading? Any books you’re looking forward to getting to this month?

      1. Ugh I hate insomnia! No matter how early I try to sleep I always end up waking up a million times or ridiculously early so I know how you feel! But it does create more reading time which isn’t bad as long as you don’t fall asleep and lose your spot lol
