Private #1 Suspect

Private #1 Suspect by James Patterson (Private #2); 377 pages

Jack Morgan has just returned from a business trip to find his ex girlfriend, Colleen, dead in his bed. His gun is missing and there hard drive to his security camera has been stolen. The police suspect Jack and now he must fight to prove his innocence.

At the same time, his private detective firm, Private, have two new jobs. Mob boss, Carmine Noccia, wants Jack to find $30 million worth of pharmaceutical drugs stolen from him. Not only that but the owner of a hotel chain enlists Jack’s help to figure out who is killing her guests.

I am loving this series! James Patterson writes amazing detective stories that get even better when you involve a private detective that doesn’t have to follow all the same rules as cops. The characters have good chemistry, the supporting characters are always interesting, and the cases are wild! I’m really looking forward to reading the rest of this series!!
