WWW Wednesday is hosted each week by Sam over at Taking on a World of Words

What are you currently reading?

A Darker Shade of Magic by V.E. Schwab- I’m just over halfway through it and I’m enjoying it so far!

What have you recently finished reading?

Unhooked by Lisa Maxwell- review to come tomorrow!

What are you planning on reading next?

If I finish A Darker Shade of Magic by Friday I am planning on staring Glass Sword by Victoria Aveyard.
If I don’t I’m going to dive back into The Goldfinch until Tuesday when I’m going to reread Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone after my haircut 😁

What has everyone been reading this last week?

  1. Yay! So happy to hear you’re enjoying ADSOM so far. I want everyone to read it and love it so they’ll read the sequel and then we can all be excited about book 3 together – haha! 🙂

I’m keeping a close eye on reviews of Glass Sword. I thought Red Queen was ok and so far reviews of Glass Sword have been pretty mixed. I don’t think I’m going to rush to read it…

    1. I’m reading ADSOM for a book club book and were also reading the second one so I’m going to try to get to it before the month is over!
I loved Red Queen so I’m really excited to read Glass Sword! I read Red Queen before all the hype which is why I think I’m one of the people who really loved it.

  2. I am also reading The Darkest Part of the Forest this month for my book club! I listened to the audio version and LOVED it! I am really excited to sit down with it in my hands.

I wasn’t able to finish Ready Player One unfortunately 😦 . I hope you enjoy it much more than I did!!

    Happy Reading

    1. I’ve heard awesome reviews for The Darkest Part of the Forest so I am so excited to read it!
You’re the first one who I’ve heard say they didn’t really like Ready Player One though, I’m not sure what to make of it because it’s out of my usual genres.

  3. Glad you’re liking ‘A Darker Shade of Magic.’ It’s a really fun read. I have illustrated HP at home, too. I love flipping through it when I have a few minutes to spare. Happy reading and thanks for participating in WWW Wednesday!
