Name Your Favorite

I did this on Instagram and got a ton of responses and so many of them were books I’d never heard of before! So I made a list of all of them to take a look for them at my local library!

So now I’m asking all of my readers, what’s your favorite book? I’d love for you to comment and let me know!

Some of mine would be …..

  1. The Harry Potter series
  2. Anything by Jodi Picoult
  3. Looking for Alaska by John Green
  4. Alice in Wonderland
  5. Anything by James Patterson

Favorites of 2016 so far ……

  1. The Serpent King by Jeff Zentner
  2. Salt to the Sea by Ruta Sepetys

      1. Yeah my schedule has been so busy with school, it’s been stressful. Reading usually calms me but it just hasn’t been working and I’ve been getting frustrated with what I’m reading. The book I’m reading now is helping though, it’s light and funny and I’m flying through it!

  2. Some new faves of mine that have just been published this year include: A Shadow Bright And Burning by Jessica Cluess, Replica by Lauren Oliver, and the An Ember in the Ashes Series by Sabaa Tahir! They’re all stunning and super fun and I could rave about them until I go mad…Who am I kidding??? I’m already mad! Hope you enjoy!

  3. Seconding both The Time Traveler’s Wife AND The Night Circus, as those are definitely two of my all-time favorites as well. I also very much enjoyed The Shadow of the Wind and The Realm of Possibility. My top book of 2016 is 100% A Curious Beginning by Deanna Raybourn, and I wholeheartedly recommend it!

  4. I can only pick one? I haz the sads. If I can ONLY pick one, I’d pick The Mists of Avalon by Marion Zimmer Bradley. But if I can pick more, I’d also pick the entire Tolkien canon; Good Omens, Neverwhere, and American Gods by Neil Gaiman; Daughter of the Forest by Juliet Mariller; When Christ and His Saints Slept and Here Be Dragons by Sharon Kay Penman; Illuminations by Mary Sharratt; and The Dragonriders of Pern series by Anne McCaffrey.

  5. Some of my favorite books include Harry Potter (of course), the Uglies series by Scott Westerfield, the Mediator series by Meg Cabot, Fun Home by Alison Bechdel, and You Deserve A Drink by Mamrie Hart! Granted, I realize that most of my favorites are series, but they’re all so perfect that they deserve the same recognition. *__*

      1. I’ve read his Micheal Bennett series which is really good. And I’m making my way through the Women’s Murder Club series and the Private series, and I’m really enjoying both of them too.
