The House of Hades by Rick Riordan

The House of Hades (The Heroes of Olympus Book 4) by Rick Riordan; 583 pages

This review will obviously contain spoilers from the rest of the series!

This is book 4 in the series so readers be warned!

Annabeth and Percy are stuck in Tartarus while the rest of the team is off to find the House of Hades. Each group will have many tests to face before they will be able to find each other at the House of Hades.

My thoughts:

Wow this book was good. It was definitely the best book in the series so far.

I really loved the split stories. It was a really nice break to switch it up every four chapters or so. It made the story move faster. I loved reading about Percy and Annabeth in Tartarus. It was such a cool change from the norm, all of the new myths and characters were fun to read about.

I also like that the rest of the series continues to happen in Europe. It makes it so much better to read about the myths where they originally occurred.

I also really liked seeing all the growth the characters went through. So many of them went through trials and came out stronger and better. It was fun to see.

I think this book is the best in the series so far! I’m really excited to see how it ends!

      1. Thank you, dear!!! *–* So far, I am! The Tartarus (?) – I’m reading it in Brazilian Portuguese, so I’m not sure if the word is correct, sorry! – is such an interesting place!! Annabeth and Percy are growing so much there together, I can barely let go of this book!
