Michael, Sarah, and Bryson need to stop Kaine and now they need to stop the VNS on top of that. Working with a group of rogue tangents, the team must try to stop the VNS and Kaine from doing things that could seriously harm the entire world.
Wow. That summary sucked. It’s hard to write a summary sometimes without giving things away and I try really hard not to spoil things in my reviews.
This book wasn’t as good as the first two but that seems to be a theme with Dashner… he goes for a big finale and it ends up being a bit confusing. That’s how this went. It wasn’t a bad ending, just a lot of talk about coding and things I didn’t fully understand. It could have been because it had been a while since I read the last book too …
All in all, I thought this series was much better than The Maze Runner. The whole story flowed so much better and it was more consistent from book to book.
