Lost in a Book by Jennifer Donnelly

Lost in a Book by Jennifer Donnelly; 341 pages

Summary:

The Beast has just given Belle his library and she could not be more thrilled. While cleaning, she finds a book called Nevermore- a book that can transport you into its pages so you can actually live the story. Feeling lonely, Belle loses herself in the pages of Nevermore and a story she never knew was unfolding.

My thoughts:

Overall I thought this was a cute story. It was fun getting to read all about our favorite Beauty and the Beast characters outside of the usual story.

Nevermore was an interesting place to read about. It all sounded so perfect.

I wasnโ€™t a huge fan of the way Bells was portrayed in the book. There were times, especially in Nevermore, where I thought she seemed rather clueless and incredibly slow on the uptake. This bothered me because I always considered her to be such a smart character.

On a totally unrelated note, I want to know who edited this book … I found some misspellings and some seriously odd sentence structures in this book that probably should have been caught beforehand.
