Wonder Woman: Warbringer by Leigh Bardugo; 364 pages
Diana wants nothing more than to prove to the other Amazons that she is one of them. But when she witnesses an explosion and saves a young girl from the world of men she unknowingly puts her people in danger. This girl is a Warbringer and could be the end of the Amazons. Diana must set off on a quest to bring the girl to Greece and cleanse her bloodline.
Leigh Bardugo has crafted another masterpiece!
I loved every second of this book! The characters were great and I loved the modern setting. I also really liked how the book was split between Diana’s perspective and Alia’s. Reading about Diana through Alia’s eyes was great!
And that plot twist at the end! Bardugo is such a great writer, I did not see it coming at all.
And the release of this book was so perfectly timed after the movie because I could just picture Gal Gadot doing all these things from the book … it was wonderful.
I’m really hoping Leigh Bardugo plans on writing another Wonder Woman book! The way this one ended makes me think she will!
