Ace of Shades by Amanda Foody

Ace of Shades by Amanda Foody; 408 pages

Enne is looking for her mother in New Reynes, the City of Sin. Levi is a street lord under the thumb of one of the city’s crime families. When their paths cross it only leads to trouble for both of them as their lives and pasts intertwine.

My thoughts:

  • Loved the Vegas theme to the boom, you don’t see many books with that kind of setting.
  • Enne was not my favorite to start but she grew on me as the story went on.
  • I liked the idea of the Shadow Game and I really hope that there’s more of it in book 2!
  • Very curious to see where this series goes from here.
